Douglas Fir panels throughout give the guest house a modern Scandinavian feel.
The kitchen/dining area looks out towards the lighthouse and across to the Mull of Kintyre. A glass wall in the lounge overlooks Kilnaughton Bay with views over to Port Ellen.
Grey stone floor tiles, heated by an air source pump, help to keep things cosy.
The kitchen/dining area is separated from the lounge by a poured concrete unit: on one side sink and induction hob, on the other a wood burner with exposed funnel.
The shower room has a fabulous high-pressure rain shower head and heated towel rail and is located next to the bedroom at the inland end of the house.
