
High quality self-catering accommodation located on a lovely sandy beach on the Isle of Islay.
Now booking for 2026 in the wooden guest house (ideal for couples) and from October in the main, white house (Sleeps 6).
The Guest House has one double bedroom, a large kitchen-diner and a day bed that can be used for additional guests.
The main house has three double bedrooms. Downstairs there is a large master bedroom, family bathroom, kitchen diner and lounge with glass wall overlooking the bay and lighthouse. Upstairs there is one ensuite bedroom with a king-sized bed and a twin room.
Up to 2 dogs welcome by arrangement for small fee.
Weekly lets Saturday-Saturday from April to October at £950/week in guest house. Short-stays possible at other times at £120/night + £75, minimum stay 2 nights. Main house is £1,250/week.
Close to the village of Port Ellen and its revived distillery. Ardbeg, Laphroaig & Lagavulin distilleries are also within walking/cycling distance.

Fly
There are daily flights to Islay from Glasgow all year round. Book online with Loganair
Drive
Ferries to Islay leave from Kennacraig on the Kintyre peninsula. The port is c100 miles from Glasgow and 500 from London. Flying saves time but you miss out on a spectacular drive through Argyll.
Ferry
Ferries arrive at Port Ellen, which is convenient for Beach Cottage, and Port Askaig, in the north of the island. You can book online at www.calmac.co.uk or by calling +44 (0) 8000 66 5000. Early booking is essential for holiday periods.
Guest House available May 1-9 due to cancellation and from Oct 17 (updated April 30).
Main house available from end of of September onwards.
